    Back to Novice Channel?

Ok, I was in a FC for awhile but dont like it anymore and left it but now I dont have any chats in my chat windows cause I left the Novice channel when I entered the FC.

So how can I communicate now without FC and Novioe channel and is there a way to get back in the Novice channel?

My in game name is Pitch Doomweaver.

The only way to re-enter the novice channel is to be invited by a mentor. Try asking in shout in a city or the gold saucer.

If you still qualify as a "new adventurer" (which it looks from your Lodestone profile like you do — it lasts at least until you reach Stormblood), you just need to ask a mentor to re-invite you if you want back into the Novice Network.

Finding other people to chat with as well is still a good idea, though. Even if your "new adventurer" status hasn't worn off yet, it eventually will, and then you won't be able to get back into the Novice Network without becoming a mentor, which can take a while. So stay on the lookout for some friendly linkshells to join, or maybe another FC.

I would also recommend, should you decide you don't want to see it again in future, that you use your chat filters to hide the text rather than actually leaving the channel.

Not necessarily. It's either you reach a certain milestone in the game or you clock up a certain amount of playtime. Players can MSQ story skip to SB and still be a sprout by time they finish 4.1 as an example, even now it's still possible to see new players in Omega and Ivalice raids.

Also if you are Returner you can return to the Novice Network as well, either by accepting invitation of it on the first time of logging in (after a break) or by asking a Mentor to invite you. Alternatively, unlock Mentorship yourself and you can come and go as you please!

It's until both conditions are reached, which is why I said "at least until you reach Stormblood" (though I should more accurately have said "at least until you finish Heavensward). You need to have both completed The Far Edge of Fate (the last MSQ in the Heavensward patch quests) and have at least 168 hours of playtime.

It might not end when you complete The Far Edge of Fate (or story-skip equivalent) if you haven't gotten in 168 hours of playtime yet, but it cannot end before then, no matter how much time you've played. On my main character, for instance, I have a playtime of 120 days, 5 hours, and still technically qualify as a "new adventurer" (though I turned the leaf display off years ago).

Also, it's likely that when ShadowBringers is released, the story threshold will change to the end of the Stormblood MSQ, just like it changed to the end of Heavensward when Stormblood came out. Basically, you have to reach the starting point for the most recent expansion.
