I am far from being your fan, pal.
Back on topic, it's good to hear Enix is getting things worked out to get the servers back up. Ideally they won't go back down again, but I won't be too surprised if they do. While Slash Panic's JP population is limited (if existant at all, I'm not sure anymore), I hope for the best for all those that have been effected by what has occured, and hope to see all of you online again soon.
This all seems familiar...
Thoughts and prayers go out to all the Japanese gamers and their families. I make fun of JP's all the time, But I honestly couldn't imagine my life without my Japanese friends (in game and out) and the beautiful Japanese culture that has influenced my life. We are all human beings and in that sense we are all brothers and sisters under this commonality. I currently reside in Honolulu, Haiwaii so I interact with more Japanese people than the average American, And I must say that they are some of the most nicest and respectful people you will ever meet. (Not to mention smoking hot!!!) I have lived through 2 Tsunami scares and all I had to do was put myself in their place during these crucial and difficult times, and a great realization came over me that we should all feel fortunate to be able to live our lives the way we choose. To be lucky enough to love and play video games the way we want to and when we want to. Hopefully even though we might all not like each other, that we can all find enough tolerance to atleast respect each other AND EVERYONE'S RIGHT TO EXIST. (Even if they are idiots, and blind to their own trolling*) No one is more important than anyone else, PERiOD.
First and foremost... i cant believe that the people who use this forum has actually put me in this position... but ok..
As I think everyone on the server knows, I am not on Indecent's xmas list nor do i want anything to do with him...
but ffs in the first post of his i read which showed some decency, it got all trolled up and for what? the same crap in 20 other threads???
Lets have a little respect for the dead and dying...
The situation in Japan is one of the few things we shouldnt joke about, between the 10000 dead/missing and the 1000 people who will die in doing their jobs, lets show a little respect. Remember that those who are working on the reactors are going to work knowing that it will kill them.
People forget that the players they see in the game are not just charactures, but are first responders, workers and etc. Regardless if you liked them, knew their name or even cared, i can gaurentee you that there will be a few missing chars that you will never know about.
remember them the same as you would those of 9/11, ww1, ww2, the civil war and every other person who died innocently and in the line of duty.
Funny how you can speak of dead people and seriousness when you on your own trolled a lot the past few days and just decided to start acting all serious and polite all of the sudden, I really find it funny... (For not saying it's pathetic)First and foremost... i cant believe that the people who use this forum has actually put me in this position... but ok..
