Are you shutting down your PC after the crash or just reloading the client? I'd suggest shutting the PC down completely, then boot back up and restart the client.

This isn't a solution just a suggestion that may ease the crashes. While I haven't had this crash in FFXIV I was having them for a while in Destiny 2. What I found there was that if I just restarted the game client then I would crash again within 30 mins or so of relaunching. However if I shut down my PC and restarted I would often (though not always) go the rest of my gaming session without seeing a crash.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

When did this start happening? Do you recall anything updating/changing on your PC that coincides with this?

Overlays are one of the things that can interfere with the game. If you have any overlays active (Geforce Experience, Steam Overlay, etc.) try disabling it.

You may also want to try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
