There are plans for something in the realm of 36-ish dye colors once 2.0 hits and the game's coding will be able to handle freeform dyeing (I forget the exact number, sorry). They did talk about expanding LS crest customization, I think it might even be completely freeform or you will have more ways to customize it or something like that.
