    What the difference between patch

    Hello there you sexy people,

    I have spend 58Hour in game, now I'm doing MSQ where i about to rescue Minfilia from garlean strong hold. I recently discovered there is patch 2.1 - 2.5. What is that even mean? As a new player do I have to care about that?

    I heard that they cycle every 3months, is it true? does that affect game play?

    When I finish ARR, I will have to do patch 2.1 to 2.5 before moving on heavenward am I right?

    I really dont understand how patch work in FFXIV,
