The Fashion Report Feedback

Hello there,

I've been actively participating and helping other players find solutions for the Fashion Report for over a year now and I'd like to offer some feedback on the current system to make it easier for players to identify how to achive a higher score.

Dyes:

Dyes currently give +1 points to your total score for the correct category of dye (ex. White, Black, or Red) and +2 points for your total score for specific dyes (ex. Rose Pink, Dalamud Red, or Blood Red Dyes). In the game's UI this is displayed by showing a 1 icon star if the dye is not correct and 2 stars icon if the dye is correct for the +1 or +2 values only if the item slot is themed.

I'm hopping a new piece of UI could be added similar to this...



- First one indicates +2 points dyes
- Second indicates +1 points for dyes
- Third no points for dyes

This allows the player to understand that the dyes here are correct while an item is not a themed item and if the item is a themed item it shows the item is not correct by showing 1 star icon.

If something like this isn't possible the original version of the Fashion Report there was a 3 star blue icon that is rarely used anymore to indicate when an item is dyed correctly for +2 points. So when the dye was in the correct category of dyes it would be 2 stars and then the exact correct dye it showed a 3 star blue icon. This was not carried over once the Fashion Report was changed to the new version.

Item values for Gold Medals:

I'm hopping item point values when showing gold medals could be addressed. Currently some items give a gold medal but this isn't always the same point value. For example in week 64 of the Fashion Report the theme Jewels of Violet the items Fluorite Earrings and Behemoth Earrings both were given a gold medal, however they gave two different point values to players. This is another situation where the previous version of the Fashion Report used different icons to tell the user the point values were different. There was a 4 star red icon that was used if the item was close but not full points. If point values are not the maximum value could we please get these back or at least make all gold medal items the same value.

Items missing from slots:

Another common place players miss out on points are not wearing items in a non themed slot. If there is any possible way we could get something to tell players in game they're missing points due to this it would be very helpful in teaching someone they should wear an item in every slot.
