Could see if a mod gives you advantage over others. Then think they would do something about it.

Mods could make people enjoy Mogstation items without having to buy them, so I can see why this can be a problem.

From what I've been reading, the modding community self-moderates with this and doesn't allow for Mogstation items to be put up.

There are already several sites where you get the Lyse and the new Minfilia Outfit as a Mod, and it's been already reported from a few People to SE.
Not everybody sticks to the rules the Mod-Community is putting up.

Almost everyone i know uses some kind of Mod in this game xD.

i wish i could mod the game's font to be the one from 1.0 and maybe some hd textures but beyond that i don't care for mods

I think its a grey area, like with dps meters, if you don't brag about it or make very obvious screenshots with them, they won't do anything.
But keep in mind there's always a risk with these things. And square can ban you for any reason.

Mods are against Tos, Just as much as Bots, and Parsers.



But I have never heard of anyone being banned for it. It is a do at your own risk and do not talk about it kind of thing.



But if they ever do add a say "File Check" like Archeage... you could end up banned for doing it and it would be 100% your own fault if you mod as we all agreed to not modify the files when we play the game.

I have seen a couple of stories about people being suspended/banned for mods. However they were basically turning the game into porn and posting it all over social media along with their in game names/server. I am sure that doing such things would enrage the creators of this game. Making something prettier is one thing. Completely debasing the content for the sake of a hand shandy is something else entirely.

I really wish people wouldn't use them simply because it messes up my glams (invisible hands for example) and turns the looks I worked for without mods into a mess. The less I hear and see of them, the better. Keep it in a discord or reddit. I wont see their character as some long haired, lace lingerie wearing model anyway.

You do realize that people who mod do that for the whole purpose to make their characters look pleasing for them right? None of them acutally cares about your character and your glamour and they are certainly not all using lingerie mods.

Thank god i don't mod and i don't care if people mod their stuff. Otherwhise i would loose sleep over unimportant pixles at the end.
