    Do GM's actually do anything?

There's been one person actively flooding the chat in Eureka Pagos for 3 days, constantly trying to derail the train and overall be the ultimate obnoxious little child.

She has at least 20 confirmed reports and god knows how many other ones, now she has moved in Pyros and is doing the same thing there, actively trying to derail the train, flooding the chat endlessly and making it as hard as possible to run a train and pretty much pissing off the entire instance.

How many stupid reports do people need to file against a person for GM's to take action? It's been 3 days. This is honestly getting ridiculous.

I'm posting here because ingame nothing happens, emailing SE, nothing happens, just "we're investigating."

They've been investigating one player disrupting entire instances on purpose for 3 days. How about some action SE?

Edit: It's impressive how many people on here state to just blacklist.

I already told you it's eureka, you cannot blacklist if you are in eureka. If you clearly do not play eureka, please don't post as you don't understand what we're talking about at all.

Also, it seems you all misunderstand. I don't want or need your support. What I wanted is an answer if GM's actually do anything regarding this behaviour, which I received the answer to. I have plenty of screens of this behaviour and flood which the GM's cannot accept as they've already told me. I don't intend to post the pictures here as that will achieve nothing. None of you can help with the situation. Only GM's can do something about it.

    What is she actually saying?

The issue is if she can make an argument that what she's saying isn't being said in bad faith likely nothing will come of it.

In my experience unless something is very cut-and-dry GMs don't take any action.

if its just limited to chat, people could very well just turn it off if they already found a party. or the very least just blacklist them.
but are they doing anything outside of just flooding chat?

Don't mind me, I'm just posting my opinions on the internet and watching how people react to them.

Nothing directly offensive to people. Just flooding every chat possible to make it impossible to run the instance train and overall disrupts everything, causes arguments on purpose, obvious bait for people to get heated.

So far she's ruined 3 instances I've been in and caused massive arguments between everyone and essentially brought the entire train to a full stop.

There is no argument here, this person is actively damaging the game on purpose for her own entertainment, a fact which has been confirmed by dozens of people from her own server, she does this ALL the time.

This NEEDS action. It's ridiculous. You're telling me I can disrupt entire instances without saying anything offensive and I'll never get banned? That's messed up.

    Turn off the chat?

I'm sorry what? I clearly specified eureka, you NEED the chat to organize the train. You can't just switch it off. And you can't blacklist in instances. Even if you find a party, you still NEED the chat to see where the train goes.

I'm not saying it's something I agree with but I am saying I don't think it's something the GMs will take action on based on how you're describing it.

It's sort if like reporting someone for playing incredibly badly - to you it is clearly trolling (Shirking the healer on a big dungeon pull or something) but if when the GMs talk to them/look at logs if they aren't actively engaged in offensive conversation nothing seems to happen.

Again not expressing my opinion as to how it should work only about how it has in my experience.

It's clearly trolling to literally the entire instance. Every damn instance i've been in and this person has been in has agreed she's an attention seeking troll. This really isn't up to interpretation when DOZENS of people all report for the same reason.

Her own friends even admitted she's trolling and doing this on purpose!!!!!

Honestly, GM's here seem extremely useless if this sort of behaviour is actually allowed and even better, encouraged because no punishments are given out.

I've been in one instance with that player, it was impossible to find members for Anubis farm due to the flooded chat.

Though they were not shouting alone, there were so many people shouting back or with that it felt like 1/3 of the istance was flooding.

I didn't really follow the whole discussion but it seemed like they were trying or proposing something different than what the main train was doing? Not sure though but if it was the case it's not necessarily that bad to need a GM intervention.

Pretty sure we're talking about the same person.

The entire goal of that troll is to piss off the entire instance and get as many people arguing as possible so it's practically impossible to do ANYTHING.

This NEEDS GM intervention. That player needs to be permanently suspended from accessing all FF14 services.

If several people have reported that person days ago the GM's checked it already and if this person is still playing he/she got a warning or there was nothing on what a ban would've been justified.
