GMs already have access to chat logs. For the GMs to issue account action against a player, three conditions need to be met:
1. The action performed by the player violated a rule
2. The action was reported
3. The GMs have conclusive in-game proof
You can't get a player in trouble no matter how many reports you file if the player isn't breaking any rules or if there isn't any accepted proof.
If the spammer wasn't using the shout channel, you wouldn't see it even if you were in the same instance as the OP. Example of yell channel chat spam I've seen (not the same player OP is talking about):
Spammer: Step into the fire of self-discovery
Spammer: This fire will not burn you.
Spammer: it will only burn what you are not
Spammer: I have decided to stick to love...
Spammer: I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
Spammer: nor the arrow for its swiftness,
Spammer: nor the warrior for its glory
Spammer: I love only that which they defend
Spammer: No matter how bad things are right now.
Spammer: No matter how many days you've spent crying.
Spammer: No matter how hopeless and depressed you feel.
Spammer: No matter how many days you've spent wishing things were different.
Spammer: I promise you won't feel this way forever.
Spammer: Death is not the opposite of life.
Spammer: Life has no opposite.
Spammer: The opposite of death is birth.
Spammer: Life is eternal.
Random #1: and u are cancer
Spammer: that comment is more cancer then i am bud
Random #2: Nah I agree with the other guy
Random #1: u spam constantly even when politely asked to cease
Random #3: not really, this is the first time I've seen it but I've heard about how annoying you are from other players already
Random #1: you are toxic
Random #1: just like cancer
Spammer: You become a more positive, peaceful and hamonic person when you don't react to people that use you as a mirror for their own self hate.
Random #3: just so you know what reputation you have
Random #3: you actively make the experience worse for people
Spammer: show me on this doll where my macros hurt you? lol
Spammer: You either get bitter or you get better.
Spammer: It's that simple.
Spammer: You either take what has been dealt to you
Spammer: and allow it to make you a better person,
Spammer: The choice does not belong to fate,
Spammer: Let you light shine so brightly that others can see their way out of the dark.
Spammer: The ocean does not apologize for its depth and the mountains do not seek forgiveness for the space they take up and so,
Spammer: neither shall I.
That was last week in Hydatos. I saw the same person spamming similar macros weeks before that in Pagos.

Yes, but AnnaRosa directly asked the OP "can you mention the character name?" - with the implication (as I read it) that not giving that information was a sign that the OP was blowing the incident out of proportion and didn't want it disproved, when actually it's the forum rules that they have to avoid naming them.
Yes my mistake thank you for clarify, but was actually hoping for screenshots with the covered names would be helpful to understand what is going on.Yes, but AnnaRosa directly asked the OP "can you mention the character name?" - with the implication (as I read it) that not giving that information was a sign that the OP was blowing the incident out of proportion and didn't want it disproved, when actually it's the forum rules that they have to avoid naming them.

There is no lack of effectiveness. You can't report for someone else end of story. The GM's do what they can and what they are allowed to do and just because some people don't like it doesn't mean it is wrong or not effective. I can't even understand how people can feel so easily offended and want to report every little thing instantly nowadays.Way to explain an obvious thing!
The example was (clearly) there to give an example of the lack of effectiveness from the GMs. When they're presented with logs of actual harrassment and do nothing I don't know how the OP can expect them to do something about behavior that isn't even actually harrassment.
I'm just saying sometimes you gotta deal with the hand your delt. The entire human genome has revolved around change and adaptation. If people want it bad enough (which clearly they don't) there would be a Eureka discord or something. GMs aren't gonna punish this dude lol.
it takes 1-2 hours to get 48 people in the same eureka instance. Its not feasible. Gms might not punish them, but the only solution is to ignore them.I'm just saying sometimes you gotta deal with the hand your delt. The entire human genome has revolved around change and adaptation.
