Reserving Server

So, I was doing my Relic Reborn quest (I am already past the point of direly needing the weapon, but I would like the Replica Ragnarok weapon to be my glamour at some point) and I am required to do Amdapor Keep as WAR...But I get stuck at "Reserving Party" when the party is formed. I know that "Reserving Party" is normal when there are too many players doing an instance, but I am pretty sure it wouldn't happen at different times during 3 days. I have tried both restarting things and waiting it out, but the problem persists.
PS, I want to point out that I have already reported this as a bug- this is not a misplaced bug report post, but I am rather curious whether anyone has experienced the same issue with any run recently or not.

I agree, and I don't think there was much people in the Duty Finder, so I assumed it was some kind of bug, I don't know if it is only for this instance, or Cerberus only or even it's just me e.e

The instance servers may be full though. I believe all dungeons use the same pool of instances. Or maybe all undersized duties? Did you try another dungeon to see if it was all of them?

I've been queuing for almost 3 hours for amdapor keep today, same issue as you. -_-

We've seen what happens when instance servers are full (Rhaubahn and Pippin EX) and I've never seen this particular issue. Could just be that particular dungeon since it's a popular one with RMT bots.

I've been having Reserving Server issues ever since the FFXV event dropped.

I assume it's the influx of players doing duties that's overloading the servers. But, I've been having Reserving Server when trying to do any Undersized Party dungeons (Halatali (Hard), Haukke (Hard), Pharos Sirius, Tam-Tara, Toto-Rak etc... Basically dungeons you need to do for Zodiac books)

Heck, today I even had it when trying to enter Eureka Anemos (I then joined an instance with like 100 players in, go figure)

That said, I've never been stuck due to this, more just having to wait an extra minute or so before getting in...

Perhaps this is something to do with the World Visit system? Like, maybe when people are using World Visit, it happens to use the same server space as trying to enter a duty and thus it gets clogged up with people hopping worlds and so people trying to enter duties get shafted?

They're single player duties which are handled differently to my understanding. In single player duties, I believe it tries to grab you an instance when you go in, whereas for DF stuff, it reserves an instance before popping the duty, AFAIK anyway.

Seems like the common link is ADK.
Currently queueing for that and a full party trial, and the queue keeps swapping between 1/1,1/1,2/2 "Reserving Server", and "Forming Party" for the full party that no tanks want in on. Meanwhile, I've done a few others duties and got into the dungeons as soon as the party formed.

Dunno if ADK is currently getting swarmed, or is just inaccessible, but seems like it's that particular duty that's causing the issue.



EDIT: I also reported the issue, but have been told to just queue for it some other time.
