Why remove the limit on coins and not the limit for Tomes of Genesis? It's so silly not to since if you're grinding the Scaeven gear.

They just recently doubled the weekly limit for Genesis Tomestones - from 450/week to 900/week. Presumably they didn't think this limit needed to be increased even further at this time.
they never lift the cap on the highest tomestone. they didn't do it for 2.x, 3.x, they're not going to do it now.
I guess the system is simply not programmed with having 3 kinds of uncapped tomestones in mind.
They would have to rework the system, or at least the interface. Also the cap at 900 per week is most likely because of the interface too, when it only has 3 digits to show the amount of the current weekly cap.
Of course, there is the easy to way fix this by removing the current uncapped lvl 70 tomes (whatever the name was... I don't care anymore after so many changes...) and consolidate them with the old lvl 50 tomes, so the now weekly capped tomes become the new uncapped lvl 70 tomes...
So basically what they will do with the expansion anyway. But of course this is extra work and I don't think they have time for that so close to the expansion release.
The cap exists so people can't just get all the endgame gear in a single day. Its how they get people to log-in weekly.
Which of course, makes no sense, because the people who are asking for it are the people who will continue to log in and grind those tomes to max out every single job in their character page, every single patch and then will move on to grind out something else.
i prefer to consider it a system to save people from themselves, while keeping people logging in weekly.
