Is there even any housing left on Aether?

In no way did I expect to ever obtain a house after the fiasco of a randomly unlocking land purchasing system, but I was just curious to see if anyone has seen actual housing open(and purchasable) on the Aether data center that isn't guarded by 5+ people with macros trying to purchase. I just want a house, and the way this game has handled it frustrates me to no end.

This is why I'd just rather whoever wants to slap down the biggest pile of gil gets the house. That way I don't have to care, and why I don't have to nolife a placard.

I wouldn't be able to afford one, and that's ok-- option's gone to me, but I'm not given an incentive to consider even trying.

Unfortunately, until SE fixes the housing system, campers at plots are going to be the norm. I just threw my hands up and settled for an apartment as there's no need to delay the inevitable.

Not to downplay the housing shortage. But 45 days after the demolition timer resumed, I'd expect a spike in free housing.

I don't feel like that's going to do much. I can see people simply logging in here and there to keep their stuff from being deleted.

There will be at least some houses freeing up. Between people who aren't coming back after the expansion announcement to people who have simply moved on to other games, there's gonna be some. People have gotten out of the habit and some houses will open up. Keep an eye out at least.
