How do you farm Light for Anima quest?

I read a lot on reddit and these forums saying A1S is the best option to farm Light.

Problem is, A1S is completely dead and no one joins for more than 1 run.

How am i supposed to get light nowadays? Is it impossible to complete the anima quest now that the old content has been abandoned?

At least on primal there's around 2-3 parties per week of anima light farming on AS9.

If everyone's dps is decent (3K each or so) A9S is superior to A1S. Double the light for the same timeframe.

It's just a dps race just like A1S is.

What if A9S is also dead (i don't know if it is, haven't unlocked it yet)? Will that mean i'll have to spend months and months using a sub-par weapon to acquire all the light needed?

Considering you're only doing this for glam I dont think theres much else beyond what you just said. If theres no a1/9s farm parties yeah its gonna take a while, that's just how it is.

I just farmed HW dungeons...

Sohm Al, The Vault etc...

Quick and easy dungeons, basically just go through them until finding one that has its bonus active and then spamming it.

Light comes from all HW duties, not just raids.

Do you need to have the weapons equipped while doing the dungeons? Or can you just equip them before leaving?

Also how do you know a dungeon has a bonus?

Brayflox hard is the best for light unless theres another dungeon that gives higher than robust. You can finish brayflox hard in 5-6 minutes.

I ran Wanderer's Palace, not even the hard one, to farm for light on my AST. I found that to be quite quick itself.

You only need the weapon equipped for the final boss of the dungeon.
