I am plagued with 90002,90001 and 90003 error codes.

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...02-disconnects

I get 90002s more often, way more often than any other error code

I followed the advice in the thread above to no avail.

This error can happen anywhere from 5-30 minutes inbetween and with queue times, this makes the game unplayable.

I have suffered with this error for almost two years and it comes and goes on a weekly to monthly basis.

No other game has this problem, no other games cuts out, dc or drops connection

Ha actually, following the advice in the thread above seems to have made the problem worse.

I know It's a long shot , especially considering this forum is plagued with the exact same problem as mine, multiple times over and still has not been addressed but I plan on bumping this every once in a while for as long as I am unable to play.

Update; from 9-11am I could not stay connected to the game for longer than 5 minutes.

From 11:30 onward I stayed connected for six hours straight, only for the problem to arise once more, when I got online at 10pm.

There's another thread up now with the same issue being reported and another thread with tech support staff active.

This issue is something that has plagued many users for years with basically no fix or reliable trouble shooting method, isn't it time this issue had a deep look at?

I'm testing this theory out myself, it seems stupid and far fetched, but out of like 50 things I've tried, I'm willing to give it an extra 51.

I went into my date and time settings, made sure to set time automatically and time zone.

I then went into 'set date and time' then the tab 'internet time' - change settings, tick the box and synchronise.

I am going to leave my game open for a while and I'll update in the morning if I dc or not.

If it works I'll say I solved it, so that I can let other 90kers know because you know, people with this problem never update their threads

this may come as a suprise but my problem is not solved, I am fiddling around with a few VPNs but this doesn't seem to fix it either.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums. I apologize for the delay in our response.

Connection errors are the most common technical issue, which makes sense as this is an online game. Unfortunately, there are many places where this issue can occur, making it difficult to determine where it stems from. The troubleshooting that we provide (in the thread that you posted) helps strengthen your home network (your PC and router). This is the only part where you have complete control over. If you have tried all the troubleshooting we can provide, then the issue likely doesn't lie within your home network. Unfortunately, this means that the issue may stem from some place outside of your direct control.

Usually in this situation, you are running into a congestion or routing issue on your way to the server. Since this is beyond your direct control, I'd recommend contacting your ISP and reporting the situation to them.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
