I'll generally commend anyone who has been nice and polite, anyone who owns up to screwing up and helpful people. I also reserve a spot for sprouts or anyone else who announces they are new to the content, because it really makes all the difference. I also like people who ask for help and try their best, so will commend them if it works out that way.

After that, I'll specifically commend DPS if things are dying in a timely manner, and if, in the case of bards, they use support skills, or just make me think about how I play my main.

Any healer that repeatedly saves my backside from the stupid bad day I'm having has my comm and undying loyalty forever. They should and could just keep their MP, but if they are on top of things they have my vote! <3 Also healers who handle stupid from others well.

I've stopped commending tanks recently as they don't live up to my hubby (but I am biased). Frankly, I'd probably just keep giving him comms over anyone else, so it's a good thing the system has that restriction in place. That said, if a tank does an outstanding job and actually considers its team well, they could get a comm.

After that, it could be anything from amusing-yet-daft names to smexy male au ra. I'm easy.

I will say when playing with either my kid or hubby, we tend to discuss who gets the comm and split our vote if it all went well. When all three of us play together if the fourth person does well or keeps us happy, they'll walk away with three comms.

Lastly, and though this is mostly in trials but can also be dungeons, it'll just be whoever's left standing and meets any of the above criteria.
