So you're trying to prevent land abuse where people were buying up plots of land to just resell them and make a profit? Well, you already implemented the rule whereby one person can only own 1 property as an individual and as a free company (assuming they meet that criteria). Is that not enough? If not, then you can still utilize the hidden lock out timer. Just DON'T show the plot as available to purchase during that time!! It's unfair to us and it is KILLING THE PLAYER EXPERIENCE!!!
You guys are literally punishing the ENTIRE community for the bad behavior of a very select few. This isn't fun for us!! For ANY of us!! You want to prevent people buying land and reselling it? Then apply a lock out timer to THEM and only them!! There are many ways you could do this! You could make it so that someone who buys a plot can't buy another plot for a month! You could make it so that someone who sells or abandons a plot can't buy a plot for a month.
Are you trying to make the land still available for transfers? Fine! Then make that a separate designation. When looking at the residental tabs the colors red, green, and white (the ones for sale) are already utilized. Why not make the plots available for transfers orange. And instead of having the house name or the price, have the word "transferrable" in orange letters!! But do NOT advertize it as if it's for sale.
In the end, this should be ALL about making the best player experience possible for you guys. That way, people keep paying for subscriptions and buying extra content which, in turns, keeps everyone there employed!! And feel free to look at my purhcase history. You'll see that I have spent a LOT on tihs game in the past because, up until this point, I always thought it was worth it.
I get land is sparse. But I can tell you as a player that there are THOUSANDS who would agree with me on this: I would rather see the plots be sold on a first come first served basis, knowing that I might miss seeing several plots that became available, than seeing a bunch of plots available for sale, only to go there and find out the "plot of land is not yet ready for purchase". And then checking back on it for hours and hours and hours and hours, only to get the same message. And then to see a swarm of 30 - 50 players all standing around hoping they are the lucky ones who press the purchase button at just the right second!! That is fun for NO ONE. At least when it's on a first come first serve basis, much of the time I won't even know I missed an opportunity to purchase land. One can't get upset, angry, or frustrated if one never knew the opportunity existed!! And if I'm lucky enough to see those white numbers advertising a sale price in the residentail list then I can be assure that, bar someone racing there a bit ahead of me, my time has finally come and all my hard work and patience has finally paid off!!
