Hi OP! Yeah, I understand that. All the effort and connections would be gone. That's mainly why I made my 2nd toon, because I wanted to be able to go back to Gilgamesh and say hi to friends and stay in the FC I'm in. I've visited Jenova and other Aether servers since the merge and you guys are lovely! Hopefully they announce something by the next live letter in June. If not, fingers crossed for demolition to kick in on your server and hopefully you get lucky. Maybe other FC mates can help camp with you at the same time? Ask them to mark themselves as busy while they AFK. It's definitely a deterrent to most other people if 10 people are hanging out a plot even if only one is clicking. Although there are malicious people that relocate for fun just to mess with people clicking placards, those are the exception.Hi
Thank you for your input, but if I move, I have to ask all of my FC mates to move as well, and I'd have to reform the FC and relevel it and... I really like Jenova, the community is wonderful.
I'm not leaving the server.... but your points are all true. Hopefully someone will actually fix this mess. Thanks for your input!
The first wave of auto demo since they turned the timer back on should be hitting in June so hopefully that'll help things. You could get small plots on Diabolos on the regular before they turned it off.
Contributing if only so Square knows just how many players are unhappy with this. It's not a matter of fixing the timers, though one could focus on that after several attempts at click wars and hours upon hours standing at placards....
It's a matter of making housing available to everyone. All players pay the same subscription and deserve to have access to all aspects of the game... including workshops, subs/airships, gardening, and interior design. Quit making vital game features exclusive to only a percentage of the player base. I just don't understand that type of thinking where you want to create a caste system of players.
Server load issue? I believe you creative and resourceful folks can figure this out. Already working on it? Let us know so we can have hope for future content.
Also, the housing system is a draw for many new players.
Guess what, won't ever be able to get a house. SE should probably just remove any mention of housing in marketing, because at it is, if you don't already have a house, you're, not getting one unless you transfer to a deserted server, and so much for playing with your friends in an FC if that's the plan.
Maybe. Though even if it does, it wouldn't resolve the overall arching problem that is a finite resource.
My only assumption at this point is it's meant to encourage people to keep their subscription because if you end up losing your house after not playing for 45 days it's going to be VERY hard to get it back VS "I'll just buy another one."
Although that doesn't keep those around who don't have a house. Some will resort to cheating or quitting over such matters I'm sure, which is likely counterproductive to the above of trying to keep people around.
Hey its me again with yet an amazing housing story
So I spent the whole night trying to get a house...
Only to have someone reallocate.
Yep someone with a house and who probably had a wonderful night took the plot.
Thanks again for that wonderful system.
05/29/19 at 12:12am Jenova server
zero housing plots available
one month before 5.0
If there is zero housing now, there will be zero housing when all the new/returning players come back. People want this feature. I want a house for my FC. I've been trying to get a small for over 2 months. At this point, I could afford a medium and would prefer that.
Create a system where your employees review housing wards, and when they fill up, add more wards to that particular server.
If you have to add more wards across the entire game, that is very poor and lazy design.
Please review and fix. Thank you from a very loyal customer (I own a copy of FFVII when it came on floppy disks -- I've been playing your games since your "Final Fantasy" on NES [you thought you were going under, yes I know the story])
Please. I just want a house. Who cares if you have desolation on some low pop servers. What about the high pop servers that want housing? You should be thinking of them... more players = more income for you = happy customers = win/win.
Please fix. Thank you. /rant
if it makes you feel any better, my real house got hit by a tornado the day after my first chemo, while I was house hunting in game.
NOW I LIVE IN A HOTEL FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS WHILE USING SNAIL HOTEL INTERNET, BEING SICK, AND NOT EVEN THE COMFORT OF OWNING A GAME HOME.
way to suck SE!
Thanks for showing you once again dont give a flying f**k about your players! GG!

Stop pulling the victim card in the forums. It's not garnering you any sympathy when you go full blown drama mode. It's not up to SE to make you a happy person in life.if it makes you feel any better, my real house got hit by a tornado the day after my first chemo, while I was house hunting in game.

You not instantly getting what you want doesn't mean the dev team doesn't care. They do care. They've shown it time and time again. But they can't address all player concerns instantly. Things take time and resources to develop and implement.
I hope you're back in a real home sooner than you're expecting and that your treatment goes well but do yourself a favor. Stop getting upset over this game. Raging over a game when you've got more serious real life issues to deal with is additional stress that's going to make it harder for you to recover. Walk away from the game if you can't control yourself.
