another housing complaint thread

Even so, that would require redoing the entire housing system. I'm not saying it's impossible, but anyone with a house would likely lose it for such a new system.

They don't have to completely redo everything.

All they need to do is stop adding new wards (leaving the existing wards intact for those who want to compete for those houses) and start focusing on a better instanced housing system where every character and every FC could get a house. They've already got the basis for instanced housing in apartments. There's a common lobby people walk into before accessing the menu to choose the room they want to visit. Change the lobby into a ward layout, then the placards at each plot become the menu to select the house you want to visit.

Ahhh, I wasted 15+ hours again sitting in front of a plot only to lose it cause I was seconds slower logging in (thanks queue) right after maintence. At this point I just feel like I'm not going to be able get a house. I've wasted these past few weeks camping placards to either have someone relocate and take the plot or the timer popped because heaven forbid I need to sleep. Come on SE, give me a break.

Seriously, the hidden timer is ridiculous and doesn't make this any better. I mean, as far as people buying and flipping for profit, it's understandable, but no one should have to wait around for hours upon hours upon hours clicking the same spot over and over again just to get a house. It makes it really demotivating to attempt to get one knowing that's what you have to put up with for that small chance of luck that you might actually get it. More wards, giving FC's their own wards (yes, I know wards used to be FC exclusive), or make housing instanced I feel like would be ideal.

Please add more wards.

Also, the plot cooldown timer does not give EVERYONE the chance to buy a plot. All that does is make people waste their time clicking a placard, with the hopes that their click is the one that happens WHEN the plot becomes available.

Developers: please admit that your system is not player-friendly, and make some changes. At least tell us that you're working on it?

But with how SE codes everything, you'd only be able to enter a lottery for one plot at a time. They couldn't run the risk of having you win multiple lotteries. And I wouldn't be willing to trust in my super bad RNG for a personal or an FC house.

That is still an improvement over the current system. Entering the housing system is next to impossible on my server. Any time a plot opens up, 3-5 people are sitting there (some with their clickbots running while they afk [no risk of punishment as devs don't police this]) ... impossible for a legit player to get a plot, unless I want to sit for hours (as mentioned by others) and click a ******* placard and hope my click occurs when the plot comes off of cooldown.

Please fix.
