Why Is Ranked PVP Confusing?

Today, I've had more than one GM tell me to blacklist players who stop participating mid-match in Ranked Feast.
Blacklisting a player has no effect in Ranked Feast.

I've also had GM's ask me what the player in question specifically said in a Ranked Feast match (and the GM didn't mean Quick Chat commands).
You cannot chat in Ranked Feast.

Yeah, some GMs just aren't switched on.
One guy got banned off the forums because he had a gif of Lightning on the forums, and they thought it was a gif of him.
Lightning, a FF character, that has even appeared in this very game, was mistaken as a real person.

Not that I know of, I saw their comment on reddit, and noticed the guy that always had that Lightning fashion gif disappeared off the forums, and I havent seen them since.
