Help!

I came back to this game and checked out how it developed.

I liked it and convinced my Husband to return too. We had lots of fun!
We found this nice looking cave with the unspeakable name (Shposhae?) and made it our Goal to find and murder the innocent NM living there on the 2. Floor.

We wanted to level up his Lancer and my Archer so we can be a Dragoon/Bard duo.
We had so many Plans!

Then it happened... my husband discovered mining...

Now all is over, he refuses to put away this silly Pickaxe, grabbing on it like it will vanish if he is to ever put it away.
He sneaks arround landscapes screaming "IMA NINJA!" and starts giggeling like a little girl because he mines Ninja-Style right next to some Chigoe.
He didnt even took a brake for smokeing! D:

I thought of breaking his Pickaxe but i fear it would break his heart!
Did some Alchemist already invent some pill against mining addiction? I want my husband back (and a slave to tank stuff for me :X).

P.S.: Sry my english isnt very good, also this isnt meant very serious. Its supposed to be fun cos its the 3. day in a row i cant get my hubby (who usually loves to kill stuff with a lance) to kill a mob with me cos he enjoys mining so much.
