Hi, I'm in the US CST time zone on Faerie and looking for a new friendly, active, and mature FC. Can you expound on your activity plans a bit:

1) What are you plans, if any, for "daily" activities/groups, such as daily roulette groups, leveling groups, content progress groups (e.g. catching up on old content)?

2) What are your plans, if any, for raiding?

3) What is your philosophy on member engagement? Basically, how do you as FC leaders/officers interact with members when they log on and off, during their time on, within FC chat, LS, and on Discord, and what kind of environment do you want to and are you fostering? Do you make the effort to greet everyone when they log on/off and actively engage them (e.g. "Hi WB!" "HAGN!" "We have this going on tonight..." etc.) and do you foster that kind of engagement amongst all members?

A little background on me and what I'm looking for (it's a bit long): I'm an older (late 30s) player and I've been playing on and off for the last 3 years and have been in several FCs, with just over a year for my longest. That FC splintered due to some crazy drama and some of us left or were cast-away and so I've been trying out several FCs and just can't seem to feel "at home." As I am FC hopping, I find that while most of them advertise being "Active" "Friendly" "Run Content Together" etc., it really feels like I'm just another random member and hard to break into that small core group of people (or a few small cliques in the really large FCs) that really interact and do stuff together. Even basic pleasantries like saying "Hi, How are you?" when you log in and "Goodbye" when you log out seem to be overlooked or limited to those small groups within the FCs, which ultimately doesn't set a welcoming, friendly, "family" tone for an FC IMO.

I miss FCs that reach out to every member whenever they log on and off and try to be inclusive of all members and organize activities for whoever is on (e.g. daily roulettes, WTs, content progression, raids, etc.). I look for groups that focus on getting everyone who wants to raid together and teach/learn, progress together, and have fun, without restricting them to a certain role/job/etc.vs. restricting parties to "who's the best" and can get them the "clear", which I find is what a lot of FC parties end up being.

I didn't and don't tolerate any disparaging, condescending sh!t-talking when it comes to people learning how to progress and clear content. I despise elitist BS. I believe that being patient and explaining what went wrong (and right) and then overcoming challenges and having fun are absolutely essential to fostering a close, tight-knit group that can progress together.

I believe that another key aspect of being "Active" vs simply having a bunch of people on and doing random stuff on their own, is to organize daily small activity groups with whoever was on (e.g. roulette parties, dungeon parties, old and new content progression parties, etc.).

Glad to answer these questions as honestly and as simply as possible.

1. First off, there are no set plans as we are just a casual group, we only have about 25 members currently, but we are looking to expand. As for dailies and leveling groups, if there is interest in it within the FC, it is something that I am definitely willing to coordinate with members and start them. Dailies and such are just in a "who wants to come" basis.

2. As for raiding, I've always wanted to create static groups, but never found people invested enough to do so. I've recently become very active myself and although I have a 9-5 job, I do log on pretty much daily.

3. I, personally, try to build rapport with each and every member whenever I'm on, and some of the others do as well. I will always try to extend a helping hand whenever needed. We do have a discord but as we are a casual FC, some people do play other games and in a way, others will find new games to try and get to know each other there.

As for organization of doing content together, that'll come in due time, I believe. Since we are fairly new, it needs time to develop and have enough members in order to do so.

My personal philosophy for this FC is to just play the game the way YOU want to play it. Freedom and Individuality will be the most highlighted aspects, but I'd like for people to connect with each other as naturally as possible along the way.

Of course, my philosophy is not everyone's but I am trying to build a casual, friendly, and solid community for people to just enjoy the game themselves while having that connection and network with other people through the FC.
