Ability to make personal house a fc house! PLEASE!

I'm all for them adding the ability to do a one way transfer of personal to FC. Trying to start up my own FC but due to the fact that I can't just change my personal medium into a fc estate we're fighting to try and get a plot, all so that we can just relocate to where my medium currently is. I'd even be okay with repaying the entire cost of the plot all over again just to convert.

The thing is, that timer was made to put a dent in reselling plots (at least the personal ones) and if they let you convert it to an fc plot then someone can either:

convert -> sell fc

or

join fc -> collect gil -> convert/leave.

Maybe SE should just let the free market do it's thing. People are just selling FC and plots regardless of random rimter or not.

has to do with programming in the company workshop and ability to have quarters in an FC as opposed to a personal house that prevents a direct swap.

Years asking for this and only silence from YoshiP and the devs. They don't care about player housing. NOT.AT.ALL. They gave up giving us new housing zones after Stormblood. No new zones in Shadowbringers. No new zones in Endwalker. Does anyone here actually think someone at S-E would read this thread and say, "Hey, we should make it so players can turn their private house into an FC house. That would make so many people so happy." Nope.

If players can just transfer ownership over. Then new players will never see a house. It'll always be sold from within a FC or be priced far outside the average players gil range. It'll just be limited to the wealthiest of players

Because its rife with exploitation and abuse. This would benefit nobody except those well connected and well endowed with gil.

Just because they won't give you what you want doesn't mean they don't care. If they didn't care, we'd still be back in the days of 7 wards, no subdivisions, half the item limit, 10 times the price, etc.

No, because almost no one wants that. And because the number of people who would exploit it for resale would be insane.

Continuing to ask for it won't make it happen. If your FC needs a house, buy it a house. Relinquish it through demolition then give the FC the 80% of purchase gil you get refunded. Wait for an opportunity to relocate the FC house to something better.

well, ye oldest version allowed that, given that you had the money. that's what we did in HW when me and my friend wanted to turn her house into FC house
but we are talking about turning personal into fc house without the pay? and currently, the lottery nonsense.
i guess. in perfect world this would be wonderful. in real world, these forums would be flooded by thousand threads complaining about private > fc pipeline.

You're promoting house trading with this idea. It's baffling how people want to introduce systems that make it even easier to obtain multiple houses despite the claims that multiowning is a problem.
