Sigmascape v1.0 normal freeze, then crash to desktop

Hi! I'm currently having an issue with sigmascape v1.0 normal where I will freeze briefly, and then crash to desktop during the instance. This is usually followed by an error window but not always (i forgot to take screenshots). This is the first time that the game has crashed for me and this has happened repeatedly during every run i have done of the instance.

I have tried running the game in direct x 9 and disabling sound. Neither of which have worked. There seems to be no distortion in the sound regardless. The error window only displayed ffxiv_dx11.exe, or ffxiv.exe? (I've forgotten) for dx9.

The only forum thread I've found about this is http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Y-XIV.%2817%29

The first crash happened during the opening cut scene. other crashes seem to happen around mid way through the fight, either before the zombies spawn or just after the transition phase (throttle i believe its called). It's a bit difficult to test as i don't want to terrify other players by having their tank disappear mid fight.

Anyway, this is the first instance where this has happened so far. I've yet to figure out if this is a problem for the rest of sigmascape or just v1.0.

    1) your win10 is old version from april 2018
    2) your intel hd igp is not supported and ancient old, why do you force install these old drivers?
    3) your gtx 650m is old and does not support newer games because you cant install newer drivers, because of your old win10 unsupported by NVIDIA
    4) yoiur sound driver is from 2015 and super old, why do you force install these old drivers?

you could solve all this by installing the newest win10 version and dont install any driver, only via windows update and nvidia official driver

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

It looks like your graphics card doesn't quite meet the minimum requirements for Stormblood. Since it is below these requirements, your mileage with the game will vary. You likely will only have issues with some parts of the game (such as this particular instance).

Additionally, your graphics drivers are very out of date. I'd recommend updating those to the most recent versions.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
