While the event has been going on for a long time and we still have months until it is over, there are always new people joining the game who may not have all the time in the world to grind it out depending on when they join.
For example lets say they join right after Shadowbringers, with all the content to do in that, they might find little time to do PvP as a side activity and to get all of it done. Particularly when we need to get all those classes to 60 for true completion of a LIMITED event.
Throughout the game's history it's not unheard of for them to make things easier as time goes on.
Suggestion #1 = Reduce level requirement for gear from Level 60 to Level 30.
- Getting 30 is easier than 60, obviously, having to do it on all pre-SB jobs for full completion is more than reasonable at 30 compared to 60.
- Item stats themselves can be adjusted similar to the Aetheryte Earring now that it is possible. They can stay ilevel 235 while still being Lv.30, then they can use the sync function for the stats like the earring has. No reason why this shouldn't be possible.
- All PvP modes only require Lv.30, not Lv.60. It seems strange to allow anyone Lv.30 to PvP but then stick them with a Lv.60 requirement for what is basically glamour. Also the MGP non-dye version is only Lv.1. That's a huge difference in requirements with the only benefit being dye.
Suggestion #2 = Reduce the number of Wolf Marks needed.
- If I'm not mistaken I believe the old PvP armors had reduced costs as time went on.
- While getting the Wolf Marks aren't particularly an issue, it is still old content grinding, when other content has gotten reductions in the past as well.
Suggestion #3 = Reduce number of wins needed for achievements OR change them to matches played.
- Forcing people to win is rough when it's mostly out of our control without having dedicated PvP groups.
- Changing it to matches played makes it so you can inevitably get the mounts without the wins, while strictly needing wins compounds that further into a needless grind.
- Reducing the number of wins would at least alleviate the issue somewhat.
- They have reduced the requirements on achievements in the past. Notably in 2.1.
I personally only have 5 jobs finished for the collab, with a 6th geared but not Lv.60. I still have quite a bit left to level to 60 and grind out the Wolf Marks for. On top of all that I still need probably 20+ feast wins and 10+ frontlines for the mounts.
Needless to say all my focus is now going to shift to PvP and leveling to 60 on all the other jobs I need, instead of doing other things until Shadowbringers.
I hope they might take adjustments into consideration since the collaboration event now has an end date, just to help more people get it done.
