Anyone notice that on the Crystal data center that literally half of the party finder groups up in "other' are people trying to pawn off their FC houses for money?
I thought this was against the ToS, but it's so freaking blatant, lol...

Report them.
It's against the ToS but I'm not sure how heavily it gets enforced.
I'll be honest. I don't care enough to report them. I was just curious if something had changed that let it become legit, because of just how many people are selling. Reporting people for anything in FFXIV is a pain the butt. Never worth doing.
I actually do not believe it is against ToS as long as it isn't for real money as they are asking for gil most likely.
Below is the only thing in ToS for selling.
2.2 Real Money Trading, Farming and Power-Leveling. You may not sell, purchase or exchange for real-world money or value any in-game currency, accounts, characters, in-game services, or in-game virtual items. You may not play the Game for the purpose of acquiring virtual items or advancement in game play on behalf of a third-party or for the purpose of selling any virtual assets to a third party for real-world money, specifically including "gold-farming" and power-leveling services.

As far as I remember from interacting with GMs, selling a house is against the ToS (Like someone owning it and just demolishing it, forcing people to wait with the timer). But you'd be selling an FC, with a house attached. It's part of the FC at that point, no timers, no chance in having a house demolished.
I think it's in the gray zone that GMs don't really touch as long as no one is being scammed.
Please show support for chocobo boots to be added -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/323512-Suggestion-for-an-item-to-be-added-to-gold-saucer-Chocobo-Boots
Unhappy with how they implemented Mahjong? -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/381358-Mahjong-is-the-most-depressing-mini-game-you-ve-added-to-XIV
I recall that back at the FanFest in Frankfurt 2017 Yoshi made a statment about how house selling is considered okay-ish, as long as you dont overcharge. Now I cant tell if that stance has changed, but I would assume that if someone is more or less only trying to get their money back (maybe because the FC is moving servers and there is no reimbursment for FC-houses ingame like there is for personal ones) its probably okay.As far as I remember from interacting with GMs, selling a house is against the ToS (Like someone owning it and just demolishing it, forcing people to wait with the timer). I feel FC house selling should be ok, being as we do not get a refund for them when we leave the FC as long as things don't go overboard. Now as far as personal house selling goes, the timer was implemented almost primarily cause of that in mind. Since then, there have been far less personal homes up for sell.I recall that back at the FanFest in Frankfurt 2017 Yoshi made a statment about how house selling is considered okay-ish, as long as you dont overcharge. House selling for gil is fine.
Unless you charge like 50m for a small house or 100m for a medium.
At which point you deserve a ban.
