GARO Collab Ending

The GARO collaboration is due to finish in 5.1.
Did you get everything you need? Are you happy it's going to end or did you expect it to continue permanently? What were your favourite things from the event?

Personally a little disappointed it's ending, still missing a few of the mounts and considering it's hit and miss to win in Frontlines, that could take some farming to complete. Some of the gear had cool styles as well, hoping a new event comes in the future to replace the GARO one!

I still need the Feast mount from it and I'll grab the armor sets as well through Frontlines runs.

I'm still surprised it lasted for this long compared to something like the Yokai Watch event but I'm happy it had it's run. Some of the glam looks fantastic and it compelled me to focus more on FL for those mounts as well as the others.

My only regret was wasting so much MGP on the caster set prior to knowing I could have just gotten it through wolf seals for much cheaper. OTL

I see no reason to remove it. If anything its hurting pvp by removing it. Even longer queue times, for less rewards, gg se.

Honestly, I didn't even know it was a collab/crossover-thing in the first place. It was already there when I started the game and it always was since then, so I just thought it was a natural part of the game. And I actually really like some of the weapons/gear, especially the caster attire.

I see no reason to remove it.

I don't think SE is doing this because they want to. Nobody is removing content without good reason. It's probably an contract or licence-issue, forcing them to end it - either because it was temporary restricted in the first place or because of arising disagreements of the business associates.

But I'm pretty sure they will compensate it with adding other/new rewards to the pvp-content to make up for it.

I really hope so, like it wouldnt be too bad if they had been adding constant rewards to pvp past the odd housing item or hair style.

They stated since almost its announcement that it would end, even if it did last far longer than any player thought it would. Whatever agreement they have with the people behind GARO is probably why it will be ending.

I might try to get into Feast to get the other two mounts but I'm pretty happy with what I got. Many of the armor sets/titles and the a good mount.

Honestly announcing the removal of this is hurting PVP just as much now as it will once its gone.

Every moron with mch or brd thinking those roles are even remotely good at pvp still (theyre not) is queing up causing crapfest 72s to run instead of organized 72s.

And tactical 24s are non existant, even at 8am all the never-did-pvp scrubs are quing for it, so until this ends 24s will rarely pop again. (And lets be honest 72s are a $hit show and a joke anyway even before this usually)

Then once its gone que times will end up being 30m+ at freaking 5pm

I'll definitely get all the armors I want before the collab ends. Dubious on the mounts. As much as I want them I'm having no luck with The Feast.

Personally...I wouldn't have tied the collab rewards to PvP in the first place. Or had another means to get the mounts rather than requiring a certain number of wins. Couldn't they have been available for wolf tokens as well?

I was surprise it lasted past 4.0 to be honest. I think a lot of people thought it would end in Heavensward sometime.

I sure did, I grinded out the rewards ASAP thinking they were limited time only. It's just as well since in my opinion SB ruined PVP and I'm glad I didn't have to tough it out for Garo, but still.

Gold horse was the most annoying for me since I've never enjoyed arenas. Incidentally it was also the fastest because at the time there were so many nabs running Unranked my WAR buddy and i just curbstomped. Only like 45 games total to get the 30 wins achieve. Meanwhile Frontlines took like double that lol.
