At some point in this game's life, I'd like to see Trusts applied to that 8man msq raid (Praetorium? The lvl 50 one you can't skip cutscenes).
Seems like a win-win solution.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
I can understand the use of the trust system but i am against it.
Playing with other players is how you get better at the game, and i am always looking to improve myself when i play.
That being said i can understand why the trust system is useful.
Long queue times as a dps and you just want to press on with the MSQ.
Not feeling like dealing with people.
Maybe testing tanking or healing in a more safe environment.
But back on to what i said earlier, playing with other players is definitely how you get better at the game. Because players will do things that you don't expect, whether it is good or bad. It makes you adjust quickly and prepares you for "Oh crap" situations.
But i know there are some players that are completely fine with their skill level and where they are at and have no care of improving.
I think the trust system will cater to many different people.
As already stated, the Trust system is only for Shadowbringers MSQ dungeons. You will have to run the Ghimlyt Dark the old fashion way. Honestly that dungeon isn't bad, especially since most of your party will probably be at i400 even if you aren't personally.
Trusts have been said to be only for ShB MSQ dungeons, I'm afraid. Nothing prior to that. Will we be able to use Trust to run pre-Shadowbringers MSQ?
I have been sitting on the MSQ Ghimlyt Dark run, not wanting to make even one... more... run, with a random DF party.
Sitting on it until ShB rolls out, so I can run it with a Trust party.
(Also the Hildibrand dungeon)
If I can't backstep Trust into pre-ShB content, I'm going to need to grit my teeth and go on through... ai chihuahua.
I *like* being social. Just, not social, when I have to DEPEND on other people; or have other people depend on me. SW:TOR was/is perfect in that respect, because you can do all the storyline content with just your chosen Companion. All the multiplayer raids are Optional Content...
Ghimlyt is a fairly easy one if it helps, definite step down in difficulty from the Burn. I wish you luck.
I'm torn about whether or not I want to do the MSQ using the trust system simply because of the little character interactions and banter you miss out on if you do them with players.
I don't see why we can't do both. We're going to be running dungeons multiple times to level up anyway.
Apparently it is "slower by design (but not too slow)" compared to running with players. Slow enough to not be the efficient option for repeated runs, but not to the point it's frustrating for the player.
Judging from the dungeon videos shown so far, the Trust NPCs you choose to add into your party will have flavor text as you explore. So at the very least, it'll be worth going through the dungeons at least once or twice with Trusts to see what they have to say.I can understand the use of the trust system but i am against it.

If I die, forgive me. I used to be a Dragoon.
i hope they add some non-canon ones or ones that just wouldn't make any sense. gosetsu, aymeric, zenos, haurchefant
I think i downplayed the Trust system a bit much in my previous post, but i really do think it is a good addition to the game overall.
Another useful thing i thought of was leveling. If doing it gives exp i could see this being a good way to level dps.
Currently tanks and healers could level very quickly by doing the highest level dungeon available to them over and over.
But with the Trust system, dps will be able to do that as well. So this could be potentially very good for leveling alt jobs/dps jobs.
