Did you just see the first part of my post and then completely ignored the rest of my post? I literally said the exact same thing.

Can you atleast read my full post before you decide to straw man.

I play mostly solo ATM due to my work load. So I'm really looking forward to trusts. I'm hoping they expand on what we know (msq dungeons with npcs) and further develop the system. Not looking to do raids with trusts that's absurd. But being able to do most of the low end stuff would be great.

You have to run roulettes with other people.

You can fail in game and the good thing is that you won't lose your character items and still be able to re spawn, in dungeons or raids you won't even lose lvls.
It's not the end of the world if you fail recent content for the 1st time.
It's about what aspects of the game you find most enjoyable.

I'm going to have as much fun (and less pressure) figuring out dungeon mechanics on my own as I would with a group - and more fun seeing how the other characters act and interact.

I agree, but more so because I want to see Minfillia actually doing something instead of some political behind the scenes work.

I going to say something: people that don't care about their skill and performance they better start to do it if they plan to use a trust. Those are not going to carry anyone and if you die the fight resets, doing ok and follow mechanics (especially when the trust won't heal you during an important mechanic) will be a must.

Might as well raise the skill level a little bit of some players, who knows

If the squadron AI can be even close to on par with the trusts, then they are effectively doing the same job. I'm fine with and want that system expanded to all old dungeon content. I even, frankly, make some kind of connection with the NPCs in that type of party because they're always by my side ... even though they have no real story.

The trust system would be better, since it reflects characters relevant to the story, but I get that they were always 'doing something else'. Still, I'd think with such a massive cast of characters to draw on, they could find a few popular, if lesser utilized central characters to use ...

Like, frankly, if they made a questline for Godbert where the reward is you get to use him as a trust option in certain old dungeon content, I don't think it would break the story at all, and it would be totally awesome. He's the perfect kind of fit for it. Find a few of those characters, and then if there's a more central character that fits being available for a dungeon here or there, they can be added to the option list by default for those specific dungeons instead of all dungeons. Heck, I'd bet there's a dozen or more secondary characters in the game world that people would love to recruit. Don't really have to voice the old stuff either. Just make voicing it a new thing going forward from Shadowbringers.

Well just don't forget other players will be as curious as you to find out that perhaps your friends want to do it with you.

On our 1st try will be streaming for few people so whoever wants to join from Chaos DC lets go!

I hope they add this to all instances. It would make my life in FFXIV so much better and give me more to enjoy without other players whining and being rude.

They could add job options for the 30+ dungeons... and what about the party that attemps to do Sastasha... perhaps they could do the first 3 dungeons (and Ifrit, we could have NPCs that are also blessed with the echo) with you, then once you're doing Halatali and beyond, your Grand Company sends out a squadron (of those with JOBS, not just classes, they can lock all dungeons after Copperbell behind having a GC if that helps keep it in lore)... they could even expand this to other trials. I do think there are ways and means to do this. Use the Trust AI, but no voice acting.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
