Your argument was invalidated the second they disabled your ability to interact with unspoiled gathering nodes while visiting other worlds. No doubt to keep people from monopolizing profits or something of that sort by server hopping within that node's window.
If we go by similar logic, then a case can be made to limit interaction with hunt mobs in other worlds as well. The very simple reasoning can be limiting the amount of seals and tomes one can get from hunts (specifically S ranks). And that's before we get into the messy territories of each server having its own hunt eco system and unwritten rules that people from outside won't be aware of, or won't respect. And then there's the outright trolling.

May as well remove the entire system then. People are complaining about market collapse too. Seems no one likes the benefits of a cross world system.
