Well I guess it can work if you overreach reaaaaaalll deep like this...To be fair, why shouldn't it be?
The person is intentionally using the shout channel to attempt to aggrevate or upset other players. This affects their play experience (players will avoid the game to avoid spoilers). Under the new ToS they're free to make their own judgement and ban for it.
If people don't like that, there's a simple solution. Don't intentionally be a huge jerk.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
You wouldn't believe, actually you probably would, the stupid "reported" crap I've seen in the chat for me and other players. People report for anything and everything. It really is crazy. Is this real life? It’s amazing that adults no longer have the ability to just say “wow that was a jerk move” and roll their eyes and maybe feel annoyed for a little while and then move on. People seem to just love running to whatever authorities are in charge to have people shut down over the silliest things. And no I really don’t see the ending of a movie as being a serious matter, especially not one worthy of actually wanting a persons account in a completely unrelated area potentially sanctioned. Reporting over that seems just as petty and childish to me as spoiling the movie.
But, the new TOS are definitely in favor of reporting everyone and anyone over literally anything, so have at I guess? I mean with the way that thing is worded someone could probably get a GM to punish someone else for leaving their character afk for too long in one of the city states if they insisted they were emotionally scarred by having to see the other character’s face every time they ran by.

Its sad because reporting should be for actual offenses, and not a "they hurt my feelings" button.
The question is whether SE constitutes "spoiling" content outside of FFxiv as harassment.
Google defines it as "diminish or destroy the value or quality of". And if a GM is expected to analyze the situation and really deep dive it, how can they prove that:
a) the spoiling was true and therefore ruined the movie and
b) you havent seen the movie or
c) you have seen the movie so this doesnt affect you or
d) the spoiler was trolling and lying
I dont really know how SE addresses a report like this but I know from experience they ask for pastes of what they said so they can investigate. If I assume they're following due process, I cant imagine how they can penalize a person without some broad-sweeping policy against spoilers of any kind. If that exists, I'm unaware of it.
Reporting for spoilers? Sounds petty. Blacklist and move on.
just clarifying; its spoilers for avengers not for anything related to ffxiv
Yes, I got it already when I read other messages, thank you xD well, whether it's about ff14 or not, I think spoilers itselfs are not reportable, but bad attitude while spoilering - is (or at least can be in some situations) reportable.
I would consider it reportable. They've done it with the sole intention of upsetting people who didn't want to be spoiled.
