nothimg feels better than getting a 1 of a kind meaningful item sure you go through torture but thats what makes it fun when evently your work pays off.

even relics in ff do not feel meaningful what so ever and you go through small pain 2 get but they gave no meaning outside of prettyness

We seem to have different philosophies in regards to gaming then... To me, nothing feels better than actually achieving something - beating a difficult fight for example - or getting to experience an awesome story.

Getting a unique item when it drops straight away has the amazing feeling of "Whaaaaat?! What did I just get?!", I agree with that.
But getting this item after farming and grinding for hours or days or weeks only feels "amazing" because "thank god, its finally over and I never have to do this again... except for the three other jobs I really like to play..."

Oh and dont go around calling people "bad" because they enjoy other aspects of a game than you do. Personally I dont enjoy praying to RNgsus for drops.
I love the Ex-primal fights, figuring mechanis out is always great fun! ...but mount-farming afterwards is already a bit daunting, at least after run 20... now multiple that with more RNG...

I can tell you what feels way better: Dropping or buying a piece of gear where you already know the stats because they are not rolled out randomly. This game has already enough RNG.

Calling someone a bad player just because he/she doesn't share your opinion doesn't make your opinion more valid and it won't make SE implement that nonsense either.

as stated above add random stat rolls on drops in the game or items crafted for example a axe with 100 str ,50 crit,50 vit could have 50 str 100 vit etc

I'd rather not WoW has Mythic+ where you can get loot that's great however they have Titanforging where pieces of gear can roll 5-20 ilvls higher so I don't want my BiS to be a hodgepodge of Titanforged gear on a tank where I take say an ilvl 420 piece that has bad stats like SKS/TEN on a tank vs an ilvl 400 piece that has CRIT/DET, you'll take the higher ilvl piece because it's 20 ilvls higher.

I'm not opposed to Mythic+ in XIV but they'd have to seriously think about the rewards because while Mythic+ is fun in WoW it's built around that kinda content but XIV isn't I hate seeing that I busted my ass off and someone got a better piece of gear because RNG.

Does that mean you make your money off gambling? Since working a normal job is punishment and its more rewarding to make it big? Working means you just want hand outs, right?


Have you actually done the difficult content in this game or are you just interested in grind for rng?

I dont want hand outs, but I'd rather earn my gear through an actual challenge (aka raids, fights etc.) and not through mindless spamming of the same content over and over again. Thats neither fun nor intresting, just bad and lazy design to keep you busy.

I was never proud of my relics - I always "proud" of my raid-gear and raid/primal-mounts, because I actually earned those through skill, not through mindless grind. I want more skill and less grind (aka RNG) involved.

How in the fish is working for gear a handout but gearing up solely based on your luck and not your skill not a handount? Were you dropped on your head repeatedly?
