Forgive me if this isn't the right place, but I'm a little frustrated by, like, a few separate policy choices coming together into a perfect storm of annoying.

I started playing back in February on my main, on Coeurl (yay bonus XP!); I fell in love with the game. Shortly after some other friends also decided to join in and play as well - they couldn't get onto Coeurl, and wound up on Cactuar instead. This was fine, between a Discord server and a CrossWorld Linkshell, everything was dandy.

Of course, we knew about the Data Center rebalancing, and I wasn't worried about it - I figured that I'd be able to transfer my character over once the servers split data centers and everything would be just fine.

Come to yesterday. After pulling all of my items off the Market Board, I go to file for a Home World Transfer... only to find out that my character is less than 90 days old. After spending about an hour trying to figure out how old my character is, I discover that not only am I going to have to wait almost another month to play with my friends again, I'm going to miss the free transfer window by, like, 6 days.

Yes, I have an alt on Cactuar, who I used to attend an Eternal Bonding ceremony. But they're only level 15 - my main is now into Heavensward content and I don't want to spend another 100 hours of gametime to get an alt up just so I can keep playing with my friends. I feel like I'm getting punished for being a new player, ripped away and held hostage from the rest of my friends, because I started playing a week too late. Is there anything I can do? Honestly, I don't mind paying the $18 if I have to, but having to wait to continue playing with people is honestly the worst.
