Idea: Make the Player Housing questline a DoL and DoH Tutorial.

    Greetings Eorzeans and Square Enix,

The idea is simple. When actual player housing (or residences) are implemented, make the questline work in tandem with a new Disciple of the Land and Disciple of the Hand tutorial questline.

When you think about it, it's not that bad of an idea. Right now, new players are left in the dark and must read external sources to find how to properly craft. If I had known I could have made a Bronze Spatha with just BSM level 5 and not have to pay 6-7k+ gil with my already low income, I would have.

    Carpenter: Walls and wooden furniture.
    Blacksmith: Frames.
    Goldsmith: More furniture.
    Culinarian: Synthesis stat food.

Most DoH classes benefit house building in a way. So I think it would be a great opportunity to also introduce the player into the fantastic world of Disciple of the Land and Synthesis!

Just my 2 cents, don't bash.

    :O *puts away mallet*

Well since I can't bash, I really don't know what to say. Except maybe that this is along the lines of what SE is planning. But its too early to say for sure. They said that getting personal housing would be "challenging".

EDIT: Oh and Bethany mentioned that synthesis will go by "recipe" not by individual item. So instead of having to go to websites to see what you can craft, you will have a recipe book that will be filled with the names of finished itesm you can craft.

So you can do a leve and get the recipe for "Bronze Spatha" and then proceed to click that, as Blacksmith, and if you have the ingredients you will just start crafting. No extra clicking required. Not sure tho if that would help as much as a tutorial, but I think it would be better than what it is now.
