I would honestly rather have an apartment and not have to worry about losing it if I unsub.... if it could literally be the size of a mansion if you pay for it and had an outside garden area similar to the outdoor area you can see at the Kugane inn (but of course, if it allowed you to actually use the space).

I've bought a lot of outdoor furnishings on the mog station so it's frustrating to know if I don't keep my sub up, I might lose that.

If it had a patio or something for outdoor furniture it might be better for some of us. Since we get outdoor furnishings from events it'd be nice to have a place to put them =]

This could work nicely allowing folks to utilize the outdoor furnishings and gardening as well. Is there an option for people to enter other apartments? In not maybe institute that as well if not. So people could have open houses to show off their designs.

Yes you can go to anyones apartment assuming they allow access.

I originally had a small house in Lavender Beds, but I wanted a break from the game, so I moved to an apartment and unsubbed. Now I have three apartments (on different characters), because I enjoy decorating and working with limited space+furniture amount. I could furnish my FC's manor, but not fan of all that excess space.

Sure, I can't do gardening or chill on my rooftop like I used to, but I'm content with my roe's room, elezen's temple knight quarters and midlander's church. c: They're also all in the same complex and on the same ward my house used to be. All the unnecessary seasonal furniture junk I've stuffed into a room within the FC manor.

If you have 3 apartments in the same apartment building, it kinda feels like you have 3 instanced rooms, to move to each room you just click the door and select move to specified apartment

I have a bunch of alts as well and each of them have an own room in my FC, since I am the only one decorating there anyway. I only have an apartment with my main, but I love decorating so much, that I just have so many private rooms. ^^ I like to decorate those a lot more than mansions, too.

I wouldn't mind the lack of space as much if it weren't for the furniture limit. I have a medium house and I'm planning to cut off the upstairs and downstairs but I want to really fill up the main floor to the point that it looks homey and wonderful - especially considering all the furniture hacks and combinations, you tend to need so many slots..... sigh.

There was a certain appeal to making the best out of a small space. Also a big reason why I'm in no hurry to get a personal Medium or Large house (as well as the price, I'm constantly poor XD). I was able to make a really nice cozy little home out of my apartment, complete with a kitchenette and bathroom.

That is housing on Gilgamesh at this moment. 1 mist house like 20+ and more keep showing up it is 6 on the east coast 7 am central. I would love to see that apartment upgrade esp with that outdoor balcony. That is the main difference in houses that I really miss on a different server. Great idea.
