I understand all too well the pain of homelessness in FF14, so I bought an apartment before getting lucky and landing my dinky little Goblet plot.

If you really need a home, you can always get an apartment. They are widely available and economical. Even if they don't have all the space and functionality of houses, they can help tide you over until you get a house.

The one-ish thing I wish they would let you do with apartments is either let you have the capability to have one in each housing district (4 total, now) or remove some of the item placement restrictions (notably how many crafting tables you can have down at once).

apartments are also permanent, as in, the game doesnt force you out if you've been away for awhile as well as able to instantly teleport in front of the apartment with a chocobo stable and a market board right next to you.

Nope. But you can also have a FC room.
Then there's your Inn as a poor mans back up, in every city-state.

honestly they should just add functionality and more room upgrade for apartments like pen house 3mil , Manor 2mill,3 room 1mill then normal one for 5

with more than 1 floor and belcony for some outdoor stuff

This could work nicely allowing folks to utilize the outdoor furnishings and gardening as well. Is there an option for people to enter other apartments? In not maybe institute that as well if not. So people could have open houses to show off their designs.

I look forward to the results of being able to upgrade apartments. It may not be on 5.0 launch, but I'm eager for more space, it's all I want really. Bring a tenant for apartments would also be great because I enjoy decorating and I know people who want theirs to look nice. But, space first.

They should also give us the option to relocate our apartment as well instead of having to demolish, buy new and redo the entirety of our furnishings.
