Any proof of penalties issued as a result of the new ToS?

Penalties can include warnings and temp bans

You will never see an example here on the forum because bans are like the fightclub. No one talks about them which is good for SE because otherwhise it would come out for what ridiculous reasons people get banned here while other people can smuggle in hidden insults and nothing happens to them.

If you want to know things you could try reddit i suppose some bans and their reasons will show up there.

No. Those are different services.

That is actually partially incorrect as you log-in to the forums with your SE/FFXIV account. So if that account is banned so is your access to the forum on that corresponding account. You will still be able to access it with a different account though.

From what i've been told, it is separate and you can be ban from one while still being able to do the other. Depending on the ban I guess. If your account is delete altogether yes won't be able to do much.

Forum and ingame bans are different. You can still play the game while you are banned here and you can most certainly write here if you are banned ingame.

Ok, after looking at this a little more. They don't ban the entire account. They just ban the Service account that is attached to the SE account. That is the portion of the account tied to playing the game of FFXIV

Forums and the game are two separate entities. You can be banned from one without the other.
