Housing and cooldown timers

So people figured out if you get lucky enough to buy a house, then you can relocate right away to any open plot. Therein lies the issue. We need a housing buy cool down timer now please.

How is that an issue? Relocating frees up the old plot. Yes, it goes on a timer as well but it will become available for purchase at some point.

If you're thinking you're going to be able to directly buy one of the more desirable plots, you're likely to end up disappointed. Most players are willing to pay that little bit extra to buy whatever they can cheap so they can move to where they really want to be as soon as it's available.

There is a 5 minute "cooldown" timer after you relocate before you can relocate again. It's not much compared to the awful RNG invis timer, but it does exist.

As far as there being FCs without a house. Of course there are. There always will be as long as we have a warded housing system. The last time more wards were added FCs had 2 weeks to buy a house before people could buy (not relocate, just buy) a house. There were still plenty of houses on most servers, with even super populated servers like Balmung still having some houses available for people to pick up as personals. The demo timer barely restarted on NA data centers. Over the next 6-7 weeks (especially with the free transfers freeing up a few houses) we should start seeing more and more houses become available (with the big burst in early June around the 6th or so).
