The invisible land timer that is one of the worst mechanics I have ever experienced.

I transferred due to the data center changes- thanks a lot on that one- and left behind a medium house. I am now completely without a house because I cannot devote 24/7 to sitting in front of an estate and hoping to God that I am lucky enough to click on it at just the right time.

I tried to be prepared for this move. I moved an alt over and leveled her up and bought a house. No big deal right? I should be happy EXCEPT THAT I CANNOT ADD MYSELF TO MY FRIENDS LIST SO I CAN'T SHARE MY OWN HOUSE WITH MYSELF.

I don't know why you don't have more wards. I don't know why you didn't think to suspend this mechanic for transfers. I don't know why I can't send a friend request to an offline character. I don't know why you had to put Diabolos on a crappy data center.

So, you leveled up an alt, bought a house with it, then what? Demolished it so you could buy a house with your main that you transferred over? You complain about not being able to have a house, but then you say you have one. I'm confused.

Side note here, Famfrit is normally a low pop server, so unless these free transfers really shit the population by tons, it should be easier to get a house there over the next few days/ weeks. Also, to address the topic, I agree the RNG timer is a super bad mechanic, but it was heavily requested by our fellow players to "help combat house flipping".

No, my alt still has the property. I thought I would be able to share the house with my main, but since I cannot add myself as a friend because you can't send a friend request to someone offline, I can't share the house with myself.

I wish they would let us put our alts as sharing the property as well.

They said they're working on a way so that all characters on the same world will share the house owned by one of them. They don't know when they'll have it ready to be implemented.

Hopefully it will happen in the early part of Shadowbringers.

Are they on 2 separate accounts? (You said you were unsubbing both of your accounts.) Can you not be logged into both accounts at the same time?

That would probably only apply to characters on the same account though. If OP has 2 accounts and cannot be logged into both at the same time, then they still wouldn't be able to share the house. Not being able to send a friend request to someone offline has been one of my biggest pet peeves since starting this game.
