500 items on large houses + some requests for items

It will be very nice if you can increase the items for the large houses from 400 to 500. And medium and small with some extra as well. There are many people who make their own furniture out of other pieces of furniture so it f.ex looks like 1 piece instead of 10 to make their homes more unique.

Cap increase to the garden would be nice too.

Some items I would like be added at some point:

- Hingan Pillars, maybe even both sizes of them, you seem to have forgotten them in 4.1 :P (Think a lot of ppl misses them)

- Glass partitions (so you can see the rooms on the other side of the wall)

- Mirror partitions (Goldsmith specialist?)

- Mirrors in general and maybe 3 sizes (Goldsmith?)

- Toilets. In maybe 3 different models. Maybe even an outdoor toilet (woodworking) for outdoor furnishing, and a couple for indoor furnishing? (goldsmith/blacksmith/armorer) :P

- Paper partitions without the sliding door to use as propper walls. Without the blue edge around it, just the paper squares maybe?

Will add more if others have more ideas of what they would like to see in-game

They mentioned the front yard is the most problematic part in decorating since they are always loaded out in the zones, so increasing those is harder on the servers than incresing indoor furnishing.

The cap for all houses literally just got doubled at 4.0 launch.... I don't even know what to do with 400. 300 was more than enough to make my large not feel empty.

my guess is you're a new home owner. Try decorating a large with only 200 items

I am not a new home owner, but I love decorating. I just finished decorating the FC mansion, and I make my own designs etc to try and make it unique and good looking. I have already used up all 400 slots for the mansion, and I have to tweak and remove items to add other ones I feel is more important. There are plenty of more space I could add things, on the walls, plants etc, without it looking too crowded, but there is not enough slot space. They could at least make it so that the partition walls and table tops aren't counted in the slot space. It would give more artistic freedom

Imho, there shouldn't be a limit at all to how much you can put inside/outside the houses, no matter the size of the house. You can easily fill the house with 500 items and more without it being messy or cluttered.

Since the cap increase and also storage, I'm not bothered by the interior furnishings limit any more. Transparent partitions would be interesting but reflective surfaces (e.g. the mirror ideas) are likely impossible in the current system without making everything break. They avoid reflections quite noticeably at times, even down to the characters' eyes reflecting a fixed image rather than rendering a real-time reflection.

I agree we need pillars and paper walls. This thread should really be made in the Housing forum though rather than in General as it might be removed.
