THM sub really useful ? I don't think so.
Bard description says it can switch between offensive and defensive roles, so I would have expected the other sub (CNJ being the defensive one) to be an offensive one to help bow damage.
I can live with this tho, since Bards are only meant to keep my Black Mage refreshed![]()

So does this mean that BRD will be casting stoneskin and protect, more than a WHM ?
I mean they are the buff class right ? :P
Maybe I'm remembering wrong but isn't dark seal cross-able? Can't get online to check atm so going off the 1.20 letter which says it isn't exclusive. Might be useful if you want to use thunder or other nukes?

Also do we have a finalized list of what abilities BRD is getting? IIRC, the only list we've had was with that early vision for the classes and quite a few skills from that list were altered/moved/scrapped. Maybe the /thau sub hints at what skills we're going to be getting~

depending how the songs work, resonance could be really nice for trying to buff someone with a song from far away. If the AoE is centered around the caster like XI though (which I hope it isn't) then it's gonna be bad.
I would imagine the songs AoE around the Bard... I know it sounds annoying but it making them normal spells doesn't really fit the whole Bard thing at all.
How does swiftsong currently work ?
Edit:- Yup its cast on self, this guna be funny seeing bard getting killed when they run into cast on tank.

aoe sanguine rite is ment to regen the tanks MP not reduce the dmg, sure the current blm can add that sweet dmg reduction in the mix but its not the point. And a tank that doesn't currently utilize the overcure hate is not doing their job to the fullest, you can really help keep enmity threashold WAY higher with some cure(cure+aoe) spamming in between cooldowns and for times when things are slow like when waiting for moogle 2hr/moogle to spawn/ifrit jumps/ifrit hellfire etc.
