Samurai was originally planned as a Class not a Job.

Your job ideas are decent (I know gil toss exists in previous FF but I never liked it more then for teh lulz).
Samurai also should have a bottle of Sake included somehow in a special ability.

I heavily disagree with your drain idea however, sounds too much like a cross between Life Siphon and Healing Beacon, doesnt feel DRK'y enough.

I also feel DRK should have some form of CC spells like Nightmare (sleep that does damage) or a Mute/silence type spell.

Gil toss destroys Neo EX death.
