Make Housing less Camping

I understand why we have the house flipping timer thing, i get it. dont want to make housing a market.

But this waiting up all hours of the night thing to keep checking on a random timer to buy a house is stupid. A lot of us have lives and work for a living. we dont have time for this.

Why cant there be a bidding system. Why cant i offer up gil to buy the house and if im the only person or the highest bidder on that plot, after the timer runs up i get the plot. This system makes me not happy to pay a monthly sub just to get this kind of treatment.

I was fine with the way things were before because house flippers or not, i have a life and if i want a plot and come back home from work to find that it was sold out from under me by this system i would probably say screw it and un sub.

Please make this system a bit for Work friendly.

Is SE FFXIV going to make it where our ALT characters can share the house since we can only occupy one resident per account? I sure hope so..... Gheesh SE get with the program!

Personally I hate the random timer thing, but I'd be more ok with it if there was a reasonable maximum like 6 hours or something. So people who have a life know how much of their time they're giving up.

I'd say 3 hours with a 90 minute average. Or maybe a queue system. You put money down for a house and when you're up you get the next available. Maybe 3 more wards. This is getting ridiculous.
