General Concerns for the Cross Server Visit system.

Hello.
(not sure if this is the correct place to voice this but i believe it needs to be heard)

I am concerned about cross server trade with the marketboard might be a loop hole for RMT or any other illicit activities regarding the player gaining ill-gotten currency.

For an example: player wants to get rich so he gets a bot to buy his worthless tin ore for millions. Isn't there some other way to prevent an economic collapse from happening?

I think it is a really bad idea for crossworld players to have access to the marketboard on another datacenter after all the years and countermesures and steps square enix spent to stop RMT from ruining players experiances, how is it possible no one thought this was a good idea.

I am not here to rant but to make anyone aware (hoping the devs become aware too) this needs to be stopped before it gets worse.

So yea this just happened. a player just sold an iron ore for 999 million from a bot from Unicorn.
Who thought this was a good idea to have off world trading should have planned it better.
So much for trying to prevent RMT. why don't sqex make their names anonymous next time so we can't report them huh?

That's been something that they've been able to do on any world, not just cross world you know. This has happened in MANY MMOs and not just XIV. Using markets to get gil from bots is old news, just something not as often as people flat out trading/mailing with bots or whatever dumb stuff they do because lazy.

Kinda off topic but SE, it is time to allow mailing to our own account characters.

This is a silly restriction considering the blatant transfer of gil /rmt/advertising etc.. in the game since.....forever!!!

This one restriction is annoying to genuine customers . Its unnecessary tbh.
