I know hasn't stopped my items listed from being sold. Pretty sure there selling faster now since world visit started up.

I feel like doing a full sweep of the data center just for the sake of determining how good/bad each server's situation with the bots is.
I have noticed that they seem reluctant to get settled into crafting gear if there's too much competition from legitimate players, as the ones on my server only really made their move after the number of legit sellers went down. I'm not seeing any obvious activity from them on Gilgamesh where there's a huge amount of people crafting gear.
Infusions on the other hand are very prone to being dominated by them simply because how ridiculously huge of a time investment producing those is compared to doing singular crafts for gear. SE could potentially cut back on the abuse here by simply making them craftable in larger quantities so legit players can keep up with the demand.
Omnicrafters exist on all servers and all have had to go through the same process to gear and meld. Other server omnicrafters don't need Diabolos prices to make it worthwhile, neither does anyone on Diabolos. Also an omni crafter think of the gathering and crafting new crafters and old ones gotta do.... plus spending the gil to get melded.. ect ect are time and effort goes into these items and I don't wanna spend 4 hours to make less then 200k on something... servers are servers because there separate world visits takes a min to go compare prices... so are realms economy is being sucked dry.

As someone told me in reaction to this thread :
Do a cross-server LS
Name it Scorpion Cartel
Put a lala at the top.
Other than a few items, everything seems the same to me (idk about mats since I'm not a crafting master) but Light server seems to have decent buyers.
On the other hand, new players are seeing prices for basic gear and items go from exorbitant back down to something reasonable.I like to believe that Square Enix has destroyed individual server economies now. i'm an omnicrafter on Diabolos, and no one is going to buy things for the prices crafters have set here because you can get it cheaper on Balmung. It's a HUGE slap to the face. This is the ONLY thing I'm upset about with the update, otherwise the world visiting system is great.

I bought 380 weapons on Fairie this morning for 3 of my off roles for under 200k each. They were the cheapest and I checked a number of different servers. It's so easy to sit in Limsa and World Travel and then run over to the MB and check the prices. Now I need to farm some mendacity to upgrade them to 390.

On another note on my wifes twink i saw an rmt bot from another world running around... like they did not limit the trial version on that?

I'm glad we popped that bubble you live in. Gilgamesh was usually around 20% less than other smaller servers simply because there are more end-game crafters to set lower prices.I like to believe that Square Enix has destroyed individual server economies now. i'm an omnicrafter on Diabolos, and no one is going to buy things for the prices crafters have set here because you can get it cheaper on Balmung.
