But sure, I'm wrong.What you're talking about is more than likely a Squeenix quote from E3 2016 in which they claim that Microsoft supposedly didn't want to do crossplatform. Weirdly enough, 3 years later you have several game that are Xbox/Switch/PC/Mobile crossplay compatible. All those games are also available on the PS4 but they can only be played between PC and PS4 users, locking out every other platforms at Sony's request. So I would take that original Squeenix quote with a grain of salt. Either way, that's 3 years old info, which somewhat classifies as outdated.
