I dont know why people are so upset about a Car.

I mean. We have Flying Airships wich are Bigger than a freakin Town, we got a variety of Battlecrafts walking on 2-4 legs on massproduction, single seated choppers and so on. Yes the Tech originates from the Garlean Empire but since the Garlond metalworks seemingly become bigger and bigger, its absolutely possible that more tech spreads around Eorzea.

Please remember people: this is Final Fantasy, not Final Reality. Nothing HAS to be but everything CAN be.

Actually yes. A lot of those i know are upset because "Everyone and their Grandmother now drives around with it."
Or: " My Immersion is now completely destroyed! Cars dont belong in FFXIV."

And they are right. But we crossed this line looooong ago with flying turtles and what else there was...

Two wrong are not one right, but well... I think it is way too late to go back now.


My main complaint with the car is that it does not fit into the FF14 world - not because of immersion / lore, but because we simply don't have the streets to drive on with that thing. A Landrover would fit better.

Well you said that you know. Do thry represent the entire population of the data center or at least your server? Probably no. Just cuz a lot ppf your online aquaintance are mad doesn't mean it is everybody aka the majority.

@ Liam_harper there are going to be people who won't like. What others want or cant tolerate different opinion, style, looks.

If we see bizarre things happening face to face, a game won't kill them. I actuallly like the cars (I don't like the design) but lile to see that we have cars and motorcycles now.

Eureka has become so much better with the mounts.

Not everyone had two seaters to ferry people around.

Now everyone has a mount to do so. I have had a lot of help in Eureka since the Regalia was released.

I am trying to catch up since i fell very far behind in Eureka. So high levels have been giving me rides around.

IKR, just have a look at the Golden Saucer this week...everyone (me too ^_^v) wants the car. I think I will make sure my toon Angel has it first, since she is the machinist. Im half way there already.

In Novice Network yesterday there was a HUGE pointless argument over the car.

Some person said they didn't like it and it was tacky. And then people started defending the car.

And it was just back and forth nonsense. This isn't the first time i have seen people complain about the car.

People were complaining on Tuesday when it was released.

You can't satisfy people.

You can give someone $10 and they will complain that you didn't give them $20.
