[dev1033] Job System Questions

I'm pretty sure many people have some questions regarding the recent posting by the Devs about the Job System Updates. My question regards this piece below:

• Things that will not change when switching jobs

- Levels and experience points will not change from the base class.

- For example, if a gladiator (level 40, 1000 EXP) switches to the paladin job, level and experience points will not change. Experience points acquired as a paladin will be kept when the character switches back to the gladiator class.

Does that mean if that Lv.40 Gladiator switches to "Paladin Mode" he will no longer gain EXP until he switches back to normal? Or do we still gain exp as we use these new "Jobs" / "Modes" ?

Hi Sano,

In the example, if you equip the Paladin stone, all the ExP you earn goes toward Gladiator. But I do see where what you said could have been interpreted.

Like normal right? Because the way it is worded sounds like you don't get EXP at all, or if you do, you get it when you swap back (which I'm pretty sure isn't the case because it sounds dumb lol).
