Frequent, Endless 90006 Disconnections

I'm in the eastern US, east of the Mississippi and I'm in the Aether group on Coeurl. The last week has been a constant stream of 90006 disconnections that kick me out of the game, or lag me up for several minutes THEN kick me out of the game. This happens a lot in duties and dungeons, but also in cities and out in the world. It has made the game completely unplayable and the advice I have gotten here is not going to help.

I have a dedicated line but I do play on wifi, that won't ever change. Nothing else I have connected to the internet suffers any issues, either hardlined or on wifi. No other game suffers these lag spikes and disconnections. I am suffering the disconnections albeit slightly less frequently behind a very reliable VPN as well, something I tried as a last ditch effort.

Dear Staff. I am a victim to the DDOS attack. Check my settings up top. Yet I am still disconnecting. Never happened to me before until 12 hours before DDOS attack.

Oni_Akuma, are you connected to the internet via WIFI or are you connected directed to the router? What have you tried so far to alleviate the problem?

I started using a VPN recommended by another player and the problems immediately stopped. I'm on a -really- good high-speed connection that is always on and isn't taxed by a lot of use. My connection to final fantasy was the only thing that suffered and for some reason, the VPN immediately removed those connection problems.
