Apr. 22, 2019 6:00 p.m. to Apr. 23, 2019 3:00 a.m. (PDT) That would be 6pm tonight.

That's all worlds maintenance. There is a separate one posted for the NA split.

That would be like a 33+ hour maintenance for me in Fla. WTF is going on?

The maintenance for the split and the all worlds maintenance end at the same time, about 20 hours from now.

Ok, so there's maintenance going on and they could have tried to make it more obvious that it would be a day long shut down (they really should have put the longer shutdown time above the shorter one), got it. So why in the world is it popping up as an error 2002, or in my case a problem connecting to the server? That's not going to help me understand wth is happening with my game. This confusion is understandable. How hard would it be to create a message saying, "FF14 is undergoing maintenance," rather than what amounts to, "Something is wrong"?

Because the game isn't down just the servers if you have characters on EU or JP servers you can still play so 2002 is just the error you get for being unable to connect to the NA servers
