I'm not going to repeat information that has already been said and all relevant information was given. While I suppose "if you can't say something nice.. " is a great sentiment, I'm well within forum guidelines and quite honestly killing time at work. .. NO.

What help are they looking for? Sympathy? They came and asked questions, just like you and they got them. Some of them, just like you, got all indignant and placed the blame solely on SE after learning what the error was. When being called on it, now we're rude?

When was it so hard for people to just say "oh you know what, that's actually my fault. I'll take that as a learning lesson and pay a bit of attention next time to the news."

If you want sympathies, actually start acting like the above for a minute and maybe, just maybe we'd be more receptive to your suggestion.

There's plenty of point in helping people on these forums. However if people continue to whine after being helped and trying to point fingers and claim faulty processes when all the tools to solve their own problems were present? Yeah.. gonna call them on it.
